Genaro had a day off during the week and the weather was cool so we decided to head to the zoo. I love going to the zoo. We have this incredibly huge zoo. You can't possibly enjoy it in one day. You need to come back time and time again to really get everything out of it! One of my favorite exhibits is a new one that was completed last year, it is the butterfly/insect pavilion. You walk through this room full of moths and butterflies and then when you exit you have to go into this room to make sure that you don't carry one out with you. The next room shows where the butterflies/moths hatch and they also have a huge beehive. Totally cool. Then you enter into the insect exhibit. Creepy, crawly, bugs, spiders and the such. I am thankful they are behind glass!! We have so many pictures of the zoo that they all seem to look the same every year! Just the kids change! So I did take a few of the pictures and then handed the camera over to the kids and let them snap away. They took some pretty good pictures!
